Adam came one to bowl well, taking 3 for 47 from 8 overs.Cooper, Lawton and Smith also chipping in with valuble wickets. However a knock of 77 from Darlington pushed the score up to 187, probably a bit over par for the wicket, but none the less very gettable Lawton , Stringer and Priddy scored quckly at the start of the Dartechs innings, lLwton and Stringer going in predictable ways, Steve to a leg stump yorker, and Clive hooking across the line to a ball which didn't bounce as he expected. Neil, was the unluckiest, being caught one handed by mid off, who was looking the other way at the time. Adam and Richard rescued the innnings, Adam playing particuarly well.

Things looked bleak when Richard departed -run out, but Adam once again rallied the innings with the support of his brother.

Adams brave innings ended on 49, a blatant piece of jug evasion. Old Dartechs finished on 173, a dispointing loss, but a good try….
