A run out soon followed and Hartley were 1 for 2 wickets. There was a mini revival before 4 wickets fell for 16 runs, Tony Day getting in on the act , with 3 for 29. 2 more wickets fell in the fifties and it needed a last wicket partnership of 22 to take Hartley up to the poor score of 76. (Trombone time) Andy Steene got two more stumpings- surely edging towards some sort of season record.
Lawton opened the batting with Tony Day. Tony was bowled for one, but Lawton saw Old Dartechs home with the support of Andy Steene and Andrew Cruickshank- who hit 4 boundaries in a total of 19.
