At last a game against the School After several cancellations,( including one because it was too hot !) We mangaed , through Jack's persistance, to get a 20/20 game arranged against the school at Southfleet. Their team included teachers, ex-pupils and 6th formers, many of whom were regular Club cricketers.

We batted first and James took a liking to their bowling, he raced to fifty before retiring. Others found it a little more difficult to score runs but we posted a healthy total.

The School started their innings , keeping up with the run rate quite well. Gradually they were pegged back but were in the game up until the last few overs.

It was a good match played in a great spirit and hpefully the first of a regualr fixture.
