Southfleet set us 171 to win after a superb fielding effort from the lads - wickets were shared out between Charlie, Harry, Peg, Max and Ace with Charlie probably being the pick with the ball on a very thin pitch with short boundaries this was a great effort by all. On the turn around Clive and Peg opened for us and did the job of seeing off Southfleet's opening bowlers before Clive was run out with a customary 'risky' single. This brought Chris Jones to the crease and he and Peg continued the good work putting on over a hundred between them before Chris holed out to point leaving Charlie and Peg to see off the final few runs. Chris top scored with a superb 68 and Peg followed with a 65 n.o.
