Old dartechs win at Eynsford

Adam (33) held it together though and was our much needed lynchpin - Tim Mc(24) also contributed well and with a few chipping in down the order (Shaun (17) was the next best) but none of us thought that 115 for 9 off 35 was ever going to be enough.

On the turn round though things started to pick up with both Max and Charlie firing almost immediately and very soon Eynsford found them selves in a very similar position to us - however they never recovered and after a tight middle spell from Jason and James, and some superb fielding all round with a couple of smart runouts Billy wrapped things up with a very quick brace of wickets and we quite remarkably finished with a victory for the first time in years down there, getting them all out for 70. It was a fantastic effort from everyone and capped the season off perfectly.

Incidently- this was the first year since 1997 when we have won more than 8 games in the season - Clive
