Old Dartechs did well to restrict Dartfords innings on their first visit to Hesketh Park for some time. A good crowd saw Bob Dunkley bowl a good spell, both containing the batsmen and taking valuable wickets.

The reply started well with Lawton and Tony Day both batting well. Steve went to a marvellous catch, but with a good batting line up to come, Old Dartechs should really have got closer to the Dartford total than they did. A spectacular collapse threatened to lose them the game, but the skipper came to the rescue, with Jonathan coming in at the last to secure yet another not out, and the draw.
