Match Report

29/04/2007 v LEEDS AND BROOMFIELD

WON

The number of horses around the ground on Sunday must have made Tim McArdle nervous, but it had the effect of moving play to the end of the square, and a high score ensued. I think one record was broken and almost 2r. I can't find any previous centuries in successive matches which Anthony achieved here, and the winning margin is the second highest ever. (See Ightham Mote game 1999). (One wonders whether we will see Mr Allen again this season after scoring 43 not out and a bowling average of 2 ! )
